NBA ALL-STAR 2010

We went, we saw, we kicked it, we let it marinate, we went back home.
WE WENT - To tell you the story on how I even got to the airport would be a whole other entry. Let's just say, that preparation is the key to even having a chance of success in ANYTHING. Special thanks to my CC family, CC staff, my Daddy, my brother, and his best friend Cool Breeze. If it weren't for them, their support, and my planning, I may never had made my flight to Dallas.

WE SAW - We saw all income levels of recession lace fronts, too many pairs of leggings with lumps in them, the prep-work for catching pneumonia (non-coat-wearing-fast-women), wandering eyes of men while with their main, groupie love, Gucci this & that, TOO many versions of the Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Canvas, brown-skinned avatars, lifted stilettos, more recession lace front, and a whole lot of cougars gone wild.

WE KICKED IT - In the Traverse rolling around downtown Dallas observing MUCH randomness to include: an early V-day gift in the front of a Caprice, saving the man on the corner selling t-shirts from the po-po, booty pads, cross-walk scooting in a shamedium corset, cranberry juice on the corner, tripods, a shooting inside the Traverse, and Diddy at the Mickey D's drive-thru with his bodyguards OUTSIDE of the Escalade - very serious about his Big Mac. The Cowboys Stadium where the game took place was beyond capacity with a record of 108K+ folks of all ages, sizes, shapes, colors, and walks of life. Usher wow'd us with those leather capri's, Shakira tried to step, and Alicia rocked a new hair color. The popcorn and nachos were that thang, and the Will Call line moved smooth as a baby's bottom. T.O. & Josh Howard's party that featured: T.O.'s cute smile, more brown-skinned avatars, 2 Captain Morgans + Coke, 1 double-Captain Morgan + Coke, grunts from DJ Bay Bay, yarn pony-tails, Mr. Martin's hood entourage, food on the back table that EVERYONE forgot about, Mizzou Alum, no-English speaking, efficient coat-check, and Josh Howard's breakfast offer.

WE LET IT MARINATE - Had to scoop up some Razzo's, Pappadeaux's, Five Guys, and Waffle House. Eating like we ate is probably against laws in parts of the country. Not leaving until 4pm like we didn't have an 8 hour drive should be against the law period...but the ride home wasn't that bad at all.

WE WENT BACK HOME - on the road again...reflecting on what we had just witnessed in the previous 48 hours and what was to come on our next journey. March 19th...doing it all over again!!
